(Easter Monday on the ice in North Karelia)
Pääsiäispäivä valkeni aurinkoisena täällä Nurmeksessa, Pohjois-Karjalassa. Kävin päiväkävelyllä pitkästä aikaa aivan upeassa kevätsäässä. Kävelin Pieliselle tehtyä kävelypolkua pitkin Hyvärilän kartanohotellilta Bombatalon rantaan. Ihmisiä oli liikkeellä runsaasti, osa suksilla ja toiset kävellen. Ihmiset näyttivät nauttivan kevätauringon tuomasta lämmöstä. Kävelin hiljaisen Bomba talon pihan poikki. Bomba talo on kopio vuonna 1855 Jegor Bombin -nimisen miehen pojalleen Dimitrille Suojärvellä rakennuttamasta talosta. Pysähdyin hetkeksi Pielisen rannassa olevan Bomban tsasounan portaille miettimään pääsiäisen ihmettä. Tsasouna on ortodoksisesta rukoushuoneesta Karjalassa käytetty termi.

I stopped for a moment to sit down on the front steps of tsasouna, to think about the miracle of Easter)
